Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
- Basic computer skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Regular and reliable onsite attendance
- Capacity to lift and move objects of 100+ lbs
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours as needed
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to operate ladders, machinery, and work in various environmental conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills to perform onsite software functions
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Understanding of OSHA requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Capability to perform frequent physical tasks and operate property equipment
- Experience in property maintenance preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
- Ensure regular and daily onsite attendance
- Clean, remove trash, and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
- Respond to resident/management work orders and requests in a timely manner
- Inspect property features daily to identify and correct hazards or liability concerns
- Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend community life and reduce future repairs
- Follow Asset Living key policies and safety standards including OSHA guidelines
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked maintenance shop
- Assist in promoting safe work practices and hazard communication
- Participate in unit inspections as requested
- Report violations of community rules to supervisors
- Utilize property resources economically
- Participate in on-call emergency response at the community
- Provide excellent customer service and manage service request responsiveness
- Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors
