Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior maintenance or cleaning experience in hospitality preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, stoop, and use stairs
- capacity to lift 50 lbs
- flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong work ethic and attention to detail
- effective verbal communication skills
- must adhere to hygiene and safety regulations

- Prior experience in maintenance or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all areas of facility
- conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, sanitation, and board of health regulations
- sweep, mop, vacuum, replace and replenish paper goods
- maintain cleanliness of all restrooms
- ensure all light fixtures are properly maintained and cleaned
- empty and properly dispose of all garbage and maintain cleanliness of trash basins
- maintain clear paths for all fire exits in compliance with local regulations
- participate in physical inventory of silverware, glassware, and utensils
- collaborate with back of house management on ordering cleaning supplies
- support back of house cleaning duties including organization and cleanliness of glassware, dishes, and equipment
- perform minor repairs including light bulb changes and repair of damaged tables and chairs
- aid in efforts to control glassware breakage or loss
- report to work at scheduled times neatly groomed and in correct uniform
- perform other duties as assigned by management
