Job Requirements
- Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance
- Proficiency using large industrial cleaning equipment including buffing machines and large vacuums
- Highly motivated service-oriented self-starter with strong work ethic
- Flexible and willing to work all shifts and additional hours as needed
- Good interpersonal skills with polite demeanor toward staff customers clients and visitors
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Physical ability to lift bend stoop climb reach and lift up to 50 pounds at a time

Job Duties
- Daily interior cleanliness of buildings including cleaning up spills cleaning windows and window coverings vacuuming sweeping stripping waxing and buffing floors
- Daily trash handling and removal including emptying building compactors breaking down and tying up cardboard boxes and bringing trash and recyclables curbside for removal
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy remove all items left behind and leave units in broom-swept condition
- Perform exterior building and premises cleaning and basic maintenance including cleaning exterior walls parking lots structures walkways gardens lawns outdoor furnishings pools curbs gutters exterior hallways and stairwells
- Light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs air filters blinds and shades
- Place mats and runners in inclement weather and assist with weather-related cleaning conditions such as snow removal or storm preparations
- Report unsafe conditions unlocked doors in restricted areas and potential security breaches to manager or supervisor
