Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Physical ability to move across flat and uneven terrain
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs
  • Capacity to lift and move objects over 100 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and nights on-call
  • Effective communication skills
  • Compliance with safety standards
  • Ability to handle outdoor weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills and ability to perform onsite software functions
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks

  • Basic maintenance or handyman experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, and community common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders timely
  • Complete repairs and replacements for community areas promptly
  • Inspect grounds and buildings daily for hazards
  • Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance programs
  • Understand and follow company key policies
  • Maintain organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards
  • Assist in hazard communications and promote safe practices
  • Participate in unit inspections as requested
  • Report rule violations to supervisors
  • Utilize property resources economically
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors
  • Participate in on-call emergency duties
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
  • Project favorable community image
  • Ensure consistency in resident dealings
  • Enforce community policies as delegated
