Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends and nights
  • Physical ability to move and lift heavy objects over 100 lbs
  • Capacity to work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Willingness to participate in on-call emergency duties

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
  • Complete repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, breezeways, and common areas
  • Inspect community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance program
  • Understand and follow Asset key policy
  • Maintain organized and stocked maintenance shop
  • Assist in hazard communications and promote safe work practices
  • Participate in unit inspections
  • Report violations of community rules
  • Use property resources economically
  • Perform tasks as requested by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager
  • Participate in on-call emergencies
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround
  • Project favorable image of community
  • Ensure consistency in dealing with residents
  • Enforce delegated community policies
