Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Ability to work in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move objects over 100 pounds
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders and stairs
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, and on-call emergency shifts
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Community maintenance
  • Regular daily onsite attendance
  • Responsible for cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units promptly
  • Ensure timely repairs and replacements for grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community areas
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • Assist in maintaining preventative maintenance programs
  • Follow Asset Living key policies
  • Maintain organized and stocked maintenance shop while adhering to safety and OSHA standards
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with hazard communications and safe work practices
  • Participate in unit inspections as requested
  • Report community rules violations to supervisors
  • Use property resources, equipment, and supplies economically
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by supervisors
  • Participate in on-call emergency duties
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor response times
  • Project favorable community image
  • Ensure consistency in resident interactions
  • Enforce community policies as delegated
