Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- must be able to interact effectively with the facility staff and client population
- must be capable of heavy lifting at least 50 lbs
- must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- must be able to cover coworkers shifts during vacation time and other events
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- one year of experience in housekeeping preferred
- must be able to interact effectively with the facility staff and client population
- must be capable of heavy lifting at least 50 lbs
- must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- bilingual - English/Spanish plus
- able to cover coworkers shifts during vacation time and other events
Job Duties
- Sweep, mop, and wax floors throughout the facility
- sweep in front and around the building, garden, and parking lot
- clean bathrooms, windows, elevators and other areas that may require cleaning
- empty and maintain garbage areas to be clean and orderly
- responsible for snow removal during winter months
- receive deliveries, lift boxes, and deliver them to the appropriate area of the facility
- move and relocate furniture throughout the facility
- assist families in moving in and out of facilities
- maintain kitchen cleanliness and orderliness, if required
- handle food in an appropriate manner following state and city regulations if required
- in the event of an emergency, essential employees are required to report to work as scheduled
- duties and responsibilities are subject to change based upon assessment of company needs
