Job Requirements

  • Ability to safely perform job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 70 lbs, frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force, and constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity and proficiency in repetitive motions

Job Duties

  • Sort and categorize donated items according to established guidelines and categories
  • Inspect items for quality, cleanliness, and suitability for sale
  • Ensure items are properly prepared and distributed to appropriate departments or processing areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in sorting areas and workstations
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in other tasks within the sorting and processing areas as needed
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication
