Job Requirements

Ability to safely perform job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
Capable of occasionally lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs, frequently exerting up to 25 lbs of force
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Proficient in performing repetitive motions involving hands and fingers
Skilled in tasks requiring fine motor skills such as grasping and turning
Capable of maintaining balance and agility on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces
Possesses visual acuity at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for communication

Job Duties

Sort and categorize donated items according to established guidelines and categories
Inspect items for quality, cleanliness, and suitability for sale
Ensure items are properly prepared and distributed to appropriate departments or processing areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization in sorting areas and workstations
Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and maintain workflow efficiency
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Assist in other tasks within the sorting and processing areas as needed
