Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crawl, and climb stairs
- ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation
- ability to push or pull items and reach overhead
- valid driver’s license for on-site motor vehicle operation if applicable
- willingness to work in all weather conditions
- availability to work Monday through Friday and some overtime or extended hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous knowledge of grounds maintenance, landscaping, and/or general maintenance or janitorial experience is a plus
- working knowledge of basic interior and exterior maintenance, hand tools, and cleaning equipment
- basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair is a plus
- basic computer skills required to perform job functions
Job Duties
- Maintain the condition of the exterior grounds and common areas of the property
- assist with trash outs after move-outs when applicable
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and maintenance shops
- clean and maintain the pool and surrounding area
- post notices to vacate and other community communications if applicable
- perform general landscaping tasks including care of parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, buildings, and gutters
- perform other duties as assigned
