Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate vehicles safely
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow instructions and read simple documents
- Physical ability to perform vehicle moving and shuttle duties
- Customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, road signs, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, supervisor and co-workers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
Job Duties
- Preparing vehicles to be serviced by putting down mats and plastic to protect interiors and communicating to service personnel of issues with the vehicle
- Moving vehicles not currently being serviced and keeping an orderly area so that vehicles can be easily found and moved
- Using good judgement and safe driving skills while being courteous to customers
- Shuttling customers to their homes, places of business or designated area and then picking them up after their vehicle is serviced in a timely manner
- Maintaining the vehicle's appearance and notifying the manager if the vehicle requires servicing
- Performing other duties as assigned
