Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning
  • Ensures that food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving
  • Stores or discards excess food safely
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Performs job safely and maintains a clean work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control and adherence to HACCP standards
  • Commits personally to safety of self and others
