Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
basic computer skills
knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
knowledge of OSHA requirements
ability to perform physical labor including lifting 100+ pounds
ability to work on ladders, stairs, and uneven terrain
ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call emergencies
effective communication skills
must reliably travel to and move around work sites

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software
knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
strong organizational and communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
customer service oriented
capable of safely handling physical labor and operating machinery

Job Duties

Assist in carrying out corrective maintenance
perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks
complete cosmetic maintenance as directed
support the make-ready process for rental units
attend daily on-site to maintain community grounds and common areas
respond promptly to resident and management maintenance requests
inspect property for hazardous conditions and take corrective action
maintain a well-stocked and organized maintenance shop
follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines
participate in unit inspections
report violations of community rules
manage excellent customer service and communication
project a positive image of the community
enforce community policies as directed
participate in on-call emergency duties
