Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness of property exteriors and common areas
  • Must be proactive in inspecting property grounds daily
  • Ability to replace lightbulbs and window screens as needed
  • Ability to assist with apartment make-ready duties effectively
  • Must be able to clean air conditioning vents and replace filters
  • Ability to install and hook up appliances
  • Must be able to perform light painting and basic maintenance tasks
  • Must have physical stamina to perform cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Willingness to assist service management team when requested

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
  • Able to be on-call for responding to after-hours emergencies
  • This role may require a valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Keep property, management office, landscaping clean by inspecting property each morning and picking up any trash littering the grounds
  • Keep mail rooms clean by picking up trash, sweeping floors, and removing dated notices from bulletin boards
  • Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed
  • Replace all first floor window screens upon request
  • Assist with apartment make-readies by trashing vacant units, caulking, checking appliances and smoke detectors, and replacing parts
  • Clean air conditioning vents and replace filters in all vacant apartments
  • Install, move and hook up appliances
  • Replace air filters as scheduled for all occupied apartments
  • Clean pool area including hosing down area, picking up trash, and straightening chairs
  • Perform light painting duties as directed
  • Clean vacant apartments between residents
  • Assist the Lead Service Manager or Service Technician as requested
