Job Requirements

  • must be able to work at least one weekend day per week
  • must be consistent, reliable and thorough with cleaning practices
  • must communicate in English
  • ability to work various schedules including Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday
  • experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
  • prior senior care experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience providing cleaning services in restaurant, healthcare, hospital, hotel or hospitality industry is a plus
  • prior experience working with a senior population is preferred
  • capable of communicating effectively in English
  • reliable and thorough in cleaning practices
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • upbeat, friendly and courteous demeanor

Job Duties

  • maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas including bathrooms, function rooms, stairways, hallways, parking lot, sidewalks, windows, carpets, floors and public areas
  • perform cleaning according to guidelines established by the Director of Housekeeping
  • assist the Director of Housekeeping when needed
  • execute special cleaning projects
  • assist with snow removal as necessary
  • maintain a friendly, courteous and positive attitude during interactions with residents, families, guests and team members
  • ensure safety and comfort of residents through attention to cleanliness
