Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in material handling, event set up, and/or portering
- must be DOT qualified or become qualified within 30 days of hire, and keep all licenses including a Class E license and other required documents current
- may be required to lift up to 50 lbs with buddy lift techniques
- 1+ years of experience with Herman Miller Furniture preferred
- experience with SAP preferred
- after the 31st day of employment you must become and remain a member in good standing in the union

Job Duties
- Pick up and/or deliver furniture and accessories, boxes, and other miscellaneous items
- provide general oversight of furniture and other assets released for company use, including cleaning and inspection prior to loading or delivering
- drive truck for campus deliveries and specialty coordination items
- loading and unloading of furniture and other assets either manually or with a forklift as well as assisting with fulfillment of daily work orders
- coordination of removal and disposal of expired or damaged company assets including furniture
- assist with the maintenance of the warehouse and furniture including cleaning, organizing and delivering as needed
