- ability to perform basic repairs and operate maintenance tools
- ability to keep property clean and orderly
- good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor toward staff and customers
Job Qualifications
- no prior experience necessary
- successful completion of on-the-job training
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
Job Duties
- perform cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks
- pick up trash and empty trash containers
- perform light repairs such as replacing light fixtures and unclogging pipes
- assist with cleaning and sanitizing shared facilities and common spaces
- wash windows
- perform limited grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming lawns and hedges, and snow removal
- examine property for safety hazards and report problems
- ensure heating and cooling systems are operational
- maintain stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies
- clean and sanitize fuel pumps
- participate in team efforts to achieve goals
- report unsafe activities to supervisor or human resources
