Job Requirements
- Six months of custodial-related work experience
- Ability to adhere to safety guidelines for working with cleaning supplies and equipment
- Working knowledge of cleaning procedures and techniques
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Job Duties
- Cleans assigned areas of the facility according to instructions on a daily basis
- Dust furniture and shelves using feather dusters, clean dry rags, dust treatment liquid, and dust mops with heads that can be laundered
- Sweeps areas inside and outside of the facility using an indoor push broom and #12 corn broom
- Scrubs and spot cleans vinyl tile floors without removing the wax finish
- Spot cleans facility carpets and upholstery
- Damp mops and wet-mops floors, including stairs, ensuring mops and pails are clean before use
- Disinfects shower walls, bathtubs, basins, vanities, and bathroom floors
- Disinfects commodes and urinals while adhering to mandatory dress codes and using prescribed cleaners and disinfectants only
