Job Requirements
- Some high school education or GED
- Two or more years of janitorial experience
- Must possess and maintain a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Must have personal car liability insurance coverage
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, stoop, bend, and sweep
- Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Qualifications
- Some high school education or GED
- Two or more years of janitorial experience
- Experience providing services to low-income populations, families, and seniors preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance techniques
- Customer service skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Organized with attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication skills with ability to read and write
- Ability to set professional boundaries
Job Duties
- Follows maintenance checklists to ensure facilities are safe and presentable
- Provides regular cleaning of all common areas including bathrooms, lounges, and kitchens
- Maintains building exterior through regular cleaning and grounds maintenance
- Coordinates daily trash collection, empties trash containers, and manages bulk or regular pickups
- Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance, and building supplies
- Provides snow and ice removal from walkways
- Inputs work orders into the work order system as needed
- Performs move-in and move-out walk-through and room inspections on a regular schedule
