Job Requirements
- clean motor vehicle driving record
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Department of Transportation certification
- commercial driver’s license (CDL)
- physical ability to handle lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
- willingness to work in moderate risk environments requiring safety gear
- compliance with U-Haul’s nicotine use policy
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications

- Department of Transportation certification
- clean motor vehicle driving record
- ability to operate flatbed trucks and forklifts after training
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- operate a flatbed truck
- operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or truck-mounted forklift
- load and unload storage containers for delivery
- transport storage containers to and from specified destinations
- participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education
- provide friendly and courteous customer service
- ensure compliance with safety regulations
