Job Requirements
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
- Available to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Demonstrates ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide friendly customer service by engaging positively with travelers
- Operate point-of-sale system accurately to process payments
- Follow proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperatures
- Perform various kitchen tasks such as prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning
- Stock, clean, and sanitize workstations and equipment
- Actively cross-sell and up-sell products
- Maintain strong knowledge of products and services available in the travel plaza
- Adhere to brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
