Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Proficient in using computers and related software
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to lift 10-65 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk 85%-95% of the shift
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive a vehicle
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism
  • Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promote
  • Minimum 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruit
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Proficient in English with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and responsibility
  • Proficient in using personal computers and related software
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to make bank deposits and travel to other locations as required
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are fully implemented
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management roles
  • Create a positive, employee-friendly, clean, and safe restaurant environment
  • Motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws
  • Manage daily restaurant operations to achieve operational excellence
  • Provide exceptional guest experience through quality service and food
  • Address guest concerns and ensure positive resolution
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and brand image
  • Analyze restaurant operational and financial performance using management tools
  • Implement action plans based on data to improve sales and profitability
  • Monitor costs and adhere to budgets
  • Protect the brand through thoughtful financial decisions
  • Utilize Popeye's systems, processes, and tools effectively
  • Serve as a role model for excellent guest service
  • Attend to priorities, delegate tasks, and conduct systematic follow-up
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
