Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promotions
  • Minimum 3 years management experience with P&L responsibility for external recruitment
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of restaurant manager training
  • ServSafe certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient with computers
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to use personal vehicle for bank deposits and travel
  • Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of the shift
  • Ability to lift 10 to 65 pounds
  • Ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma G.E.D or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
  • Minimum of 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes required
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to read write and speak English effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform basic math operations
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good organization and planning skills
  • Self-starter with strong initiative
  • Proficient with personal computers and related software
  • Valid driver's license insurance and use of personal vehicle for business required

Job Duties

  • Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
  • Monitors staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent
  • Ensures training systems for employees on workstations are implemented and adhered to
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and team leader positions
  • Ensures execution of the Service Profit Chain
  • Creates an employee-friendly fun clean and safe restaurant environment
  • Motivates and inspires employees for high performance
  • Treats employees with respect dignity and regularly recognizes and rewards them
  • Uses Popeye's systems processes and tools and complies with labor laws
  • Manages daily activities to achieve excellence in operational performance
  • Ensures proper training and accountability for guest service and food quality
  • Reviews and modifies practices to improve guest experience
  • Maintains visibility and interaction with guests
  • Responds to guest concerns and complaints timely and professionally
  • Maintains brand image of cleanliness maintenance and service
  • Serves as a role model for guest service
  • Analyzes operational and financial performance
