Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- minimum of 3 years managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external candidates
- age 18 or older
- completion of Restaurant Manager training
- ServSafe certification
- effective communication skills in English
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to perform basic math
- analytical and organizational skills
- proficiency with computers
- valid driver's license and insurance
- self-starter with initiative
- ability to lift 10-65 lbs
- stand and walk 85-95% of shift
- ability to operate restaurant equipment and drive motor vehicle
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 1 year experience as an Associate Manager and/or 2 years as a First Assistant Manager for internal promotion
- minimum of 3 years experience managing a service concept with full P&L responsibility for external recruits
- must be at least 18 years old
- must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- ServSafe certification required
- ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
- excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- good organizational and planning abilities
- proficient computer skills
- valid driver's license and insurance with ability to use personal vehicle
- demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate restaurant employees
- monitor staffing levels and ensure training systems are implemented
- identify and develop internal candidates for management roles
- execute all facets of the Service Profit Chain
- create an employee-friendly, safe, and clean restaurant environment
- motivate and inspire employees to achieve high performance
- manage daily restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest service and food quality
- review and modify practices to improve guest experience
- respond promptly to guest concerns and complaints
- maintain restaurant cleanliness and brand image
- utilize management information tools to analyze performance and implement improvement action plans
- focus on increasing sales and profitability while adhering to budget and cost controls
