- must be at least 18 years of age
- willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- must meet state requirements to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission card
- will verify IDs when serving alcohol
- comfortable with cash handling
- will work around water
- possess excellent hospitality skills
- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent memorization skills
- speed, accuracy, and efficiency under pressure
- ability to resolve guest situations
- self-directed
- willing to follow instructions and take direction
- flexible and adaptable
- supportive of other team members
- able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- strong verbal communication skills
- understanding of the pivot system seating and order-taking method
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- excellent hospitality skills
- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent memorization skills
- speed, accuracy, and efficiency in service
- demonstrated ability to own and resolve guest situations
- self-directed with minimal supervision
- strong verbal communication skills
- understanding of the pivot system
- previous serving experience preferred
- previous restaurant experience preferred
- familiarity with local ingredients and Hawaiian cuisine preferred
- knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
Job Duties
- support the guest experience by assisting the poolside server
- deliver food and beverage to guests
- assist in bussing tables and cleaning
- anticipate guests needs
- work in a fast-paced, high guest service environment
- initiate and maintain conversations with guests
- adhere to the pivot system seating and order-taking method
