Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- must meet state requirements to obtain Hawaii Liquor Commission card
- verify IDs when vending and serving alcohol
- comfortable with cash handling
- willing to work around water
- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated ability to resolve guest situations
- self-directed and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- willing to follow instructions and take direction
- flexible and adaptable
- supportive of teammates
- able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- understanding of the pivot system
Job Qualifications
- previous serving experience
- previous restaurant experience including full service and quick service environments
- familiarity with local ingredients and Hawaiian cuisine
- knowledge of Hawaiian or Japanese language preferred
- excellent hospitality skills
- ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- strong verbal communication skills
- excellent memorization skills
Job Duties
- support the guest experience by assisting the poolside server
- deliver food and beverage to guests including appetizers, salads, burgers, flatbreads, and handcrafted cocktails
- assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the pool area
- anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately
- engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- work effectively in a high-paced environment
- maintain knowledge of the pivot system seating and order-taking method
