Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts including holidays and weekend days
- Able to reach overhead and below knees while bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Must pass background and drug screening as per company policy
- Committed to providing excellent customer service
- Willing to adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Comfortable working outdoors and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day following clean-as-you-go procedures
- Communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- Maintains an open line of communication with guests to ensure all needs are accommodated
- Follows appropriate procedures for serving alcohol
- Works outside on the resort pool and recreation areas
- Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
- Answers questions on menu selections and liaises with kitchen staff for clarifications
- Processes all payment methods in accordance with accounting procedures and policies
- Welcomes and greets guests, anticipating and addressing their needs
- Interacts professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests
- Contributes to team goals
- Always follows company policies and safety procedures
