Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly and warmly with guests
  • excellent organizational skills
  • ability to work standing for extended periods
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • willingness to follow club policies and standards
  • reliable and punctual
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently
  • knowledge of customer service etiquette

  • ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor

  • ability to handle guest concerns and provide solutions
  • familiarity with restaurant or club service standards
  • willingness to participate in ongoing training and development

Job Duties

  • Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival
  • take reservations and manage the efficient and timely seating of guests
  • acknowledge members and guests and meet or exceed their expectations
  • check station charts and monitor scheduled personnel
  • be aware of reservations, banquets, daily specials, and functions
  • greet and seat members and guests to tables with present servers
  • assure proper attention is given to each table and assist in food and beverage service as needed
  • check with other dining areas to assure service standards are met
  • provide estimated waiting times maintaining a professional attitude
  • seat guests based on preferences and balance customer flow
  • inspect menus and highchairs for cleanliness
  • check reservations against database for member special requests
  • thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • relay guest comments to the manager on duty
  • attend pre-service training sessions
  • adhere to Club’s uniform and grooming policy
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager
