Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year customer service experience in casino or restaurant industry preferred
  • Must possess basic English reading and writing skills
  • Ability to lift and carry approximately 35-40 pounds using 27 inch oval tray
  • Ability to push and/or pull 40-50 pounds on wheels
  • Must be able to cooperate with co-workers and work as a team
  • Must be able to obtain all required work cards for the jurisdiction including Clark County Health Card and TAM card
  • Must be able to work both inside and outside while moving continuously in kitchen and pool areas
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, push and pull when necessary
  • Must be able to handle multiple functions by being organized and attentive
  • Must fully understand the standards of the position as management directs
  • Must be able to work and tolerate hot temperatures in the pool and kitchen areas

  • Must fully understand the standards of the position as management may direct
  • Must be able to work in and tolerate hot temperatures in the pool and kitchen areas

Job Duties

  • Ensures that the pool area, pool bars and storage areas are kept in order so that all needed items can be obtained quickly
  • Runs food from the In Room Dining kitchen to the pool in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Maintains inventory for the pool area and keeps items in the kitchen fully stocked
  • Runs dirty and clean china, glass, plastics and silverware to and from the pool and dish room
  • If the pool or dish room runs short of bus tubs, silverware, or any other food service utensils, notifies management so that those items may be obtained as quickly as possible
  • Performs responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensures pool areas are properly stocked or obtains needed items to meet guest needs
  • Ensures all pool areas, stock rooms and corridors are kept in order
  • Gets necessary approval for and submits stock requisitions
  • Notifies management of any malfunctioning equipment
  • Takes used dishes to the dish room
  • Replaces empty soda BIBs and tanks in the dispensing room
  • Prepares trash and dirty linens for pick-up by stewards
  • Completes side work as directed by management including cleaning of storage rooms during and at end of shift
  • Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policy as management may direct
