Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience handling cash transactions
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- medium physical fitness level
- availability to work seasonally from May to August
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Skills and abilities to handle cash accurately and tactfully deal with the public
- ability to work effectively in a busy public environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow pool rules and safety procedures
- customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Operates cash register in the collection of fees for pool admission or for swimming programs and events
- maintains positive public relations at the City Pool
- notifies Pool Manager or Head Guard regarding individuals who may have health problems, be under the influence of intoxicants, or violate pool rules
- assists with the opening and closing of the pool facility including cleaning
- serves as essential emergency personnel when required
- ensures regular and prompt attendance
- performs other duties as assigned
