Job Requirements
- Experience of 1-2 years in bartending
- Valid food handler's and alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong understanding of mixology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Basic math skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or resort setting
- Possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handler’s and alcohol service certification (RBS)
- Strong mixology knowledge and ability to craft a variety of cocktails
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the pool bar
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Maintain knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, including hotel signature drinks
- Follow all hotel and state liquor laws and safety regulations
- Ensure proper setup, stocking, and cleanliness of the pool bar area
- Process payments, operate the POS system, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
- Assist with food service from the poolside menu when required
- Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and pool attendants
