Job Requirements

  • Experience of 1-2 years in bartending
  • Valid food handler's and alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong understanding of mixology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Basic math skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume or resort setting
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a valid food handler’s and alcohol service certification (RBS)
  • Strong mixology knowledge and ability to craft a variety of cocktails
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the pool bar
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
  • Maintain knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, including hotel signature drinks
  • Follow all hotel and state liquor laws and safety regulations
  • Ensure proper setup, stocking, and cleanliness of the pool bar area
  • Process payments, operate the POS system, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines
  • Assist with food service from the poolside menu when required
  • Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and pool attendants
