Job Requirements
- One year of previous experience in a luxury fast paced environment
- flexible schedule with availability to work different shifts and some weekends
- work authorization for the location
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to operate computer systems
- high level of organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- TIPS certification
- servsafe certification
- RBS certification
- knowledge of food and beverage service cost control labor control maintenance merchandising and accounting
- ability to operate computer equipment and other food and beverage computer systems
- high analytical and organizational skills
- speaking writing and reading English
Job Duties
- Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods
- anticipate guest needs ascertain satisfaction and offer suggestions and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
- stock the bar areas with liquor wine beer juices soft drinks glassware and condiments
- ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service
- utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales printing checks closing checks and completing closing readings
- ensure proper pouring mixing blending etc of drinks
- service all drinks for service bar area guests and the bar area
- properly and accurately close guest checks
