Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- One year bartending experience preferred
- Must meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification required
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Positive attitude toward teamwork
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to provide work direction professionally
- Reading comprehension skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications

- One year experience bartending in a resort facility preferred
- Must meet state and federal minimum age requirement for serving alcohol
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to contribute to a productive and friendly work environment
- Ability to speak effectively and present information to guests and team members
- Ability to provide direction to coworkers professionally and friendly
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memorandums
- Must be able to pay attention to details and work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide excellent hospitality
- Take a proactive approach to ensure a consistent set of superior standards of food service and quality
- Greet and serve guests in an energetic and friendly fashion
- Check identification to assure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol
- Notice and report potential safety issues or customer concerns to a supervisor
- Respond to incoming food and beverage phone calls
- Mix drinks and serve wine and beer
- handle cash and card transactions
- balance the cash register
- Take inventory and order liquors and supplies
- maintain clean work area and bar according to quality and safety procedures
- Oversee and assist in all Food & Beverage functions, including corporate parties and weddings
- Prepare beverages, supplies, and setups for banquets and other functions
- Attend culinary exhibitions and educational seminars as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
