Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- US work authorization
- prior bartending experience preferred
- physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- great knowledge in wine, cocktail, and liquor
- ability to work all shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- able to stand and walk up to 8 hours or more
- able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- experience with customer service in a hospitality environment
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Job Duties
- Recognize regular guests and greet them by name
- offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards
- ensure all details of service are performed properly and every guest receives the highest quality service
- ascertain guest satisfaction and handle any problems, informing a manager of resolution
- develop complete working knowledge of all bar products including liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks
- stock bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware, and condiments
- develop complete working knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation
- utilize the hotel’s computer system for ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing closing readings
