Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or luxury hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and mixology techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cash-handling and POS system skills
- Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service and possess all required certifications
- Must hold or obtain necessary Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and resort standards
- Greet guests promptly, engage in professional and friendly service, and anticipate guest needs
- Support pool servers by preparing drink orders and assisting with poolside service
- Assist pool attendants in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked pool area, including replenishing towels, clearing used glassware, and tidying guest spaces
- Set up, break down, and maintain cleanliness of bar areas, service wells, and storage spaces
- Ensure pool bar and pool deck remain polished and guest-ready throughout each shift
- Monitor alcohol consumption and comply with all state liquor service laws and resort policies
- Handle cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately using POS systems
- Monitor and restock inventory of liquor, mixers, glassware, and supplies
- Assist in bar opening and closing duties, including cleaning, inventory checks, and report completion
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating when appropriate
- Promote resort offerings and events, upselling beverages, premium liquors, and specialty cocktails
- During Winter season the pool may have limited service, pool employees will support other outlets with a secondary job which may have a different payrate and/or tip structure
- Other duties as assigned
