Job Requirements
- Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
- complete and pass food safety certification program in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
- able to physically stand and walk 100% of shift
- able to frequently reach, bend, stoop
- able to deliver plates and clear tables of plates and glasses, may require lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes

Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
- be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
- accurately write down guests’ orders and enter into POS system in a timely manner
- retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
- assess guests’ demeanor and identify when to summon a Manager
- collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
- perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
- restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guests
