Job Requirements
- physical ability to stand and walk entire shift
- ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- willingness to immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
- proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- capacity to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift
- tolerance for working in damp, high temperature environments
- ability to handle hot kitchen equipment safely
- ability to use sharp knives and utensils safely
- collaborative team player mindset
- successful completion and passing of food safety certification in compliance with company and state guidelines
Job Qualifications
- can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
- can reach, bend, stoop
- can immerse hands in water frequently, diluted with chemical solutions
- ability to speak, read and write English
- able to lift up to 50 lbs several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers
- work in damp, high temperature environment indoors and minimally outdoors
- work safely with hot plates, pots, pans
- work safely with sharp knives and utensils
- support fellow employees as needed
- complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
Job Duties
- follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- washes and provides clean and sanitized plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, kitchen utensils using Flanigan's sanitation policies
- cleans and sanitizes throughout shift
- maintain kitchen area cleanliness
- sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor
- perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties
- prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing
