Job Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen
  • males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service

  • designated drug testing position

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of the National Center for Credibility Assessment Psychophysiological Detection of Deception training program
  • current certified federal polygraph examiner
  • experience providing instruction to federal employees and administering PDD/polygraph security screening examinations
  • strong communication skills as an instructor
  • experience mentoring individuals
  • experience developing partnerships and relationships with leadership
  • ability to anticipate mission requirements and recommend viable solutions
  • knowledge of compliance rules and regulations
  • technical competence in polygraph and CA procedures
  • demonstrates reasoning, oral communication, writing, and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Mentors CA students for the federal CA community with law enforcement, intelligence, and security missions
  • recommends new and state-of-the-art polygraph courses for initial CA education impacting policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • provides input for planning, development, and implementation of continuing education activities for the federal CA community
  • assists supervisors of CA federal community in conducting polygraph examinations complying with federal laws and NCCA procedures
  • provides technical expertise in development and implementation of course curriculum for PDD/CA examinations
  • recommends new and revised PDD/CA course materials for federal criminal investigation, intelligence, and security agencies
  • participates in highly technical professional psychophysiological research and investigative studies
