Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in poker room preferred
- No felony or theft convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must pass background investigation
- Must obtain and maintain gaming license
- Knowledge of poker techniques
- Knowledge of business English
- Knowledge of guest service procedures
- Ability to make fast and accurate financial transactions
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate business computers
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, lift up to 20 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, overnight, holidays, weekends
- Acceptance of exposure to second-hand smoke and high noise levels
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of poker techniques
- Knowledge of business English including spelling, grammar, punctuation
- Knowledge of guest service procedures
- Ability to make financial transactions quickly and accurately
- Ability to communicate, read, and write basic English
- Ability to provide outstanding guest service
- Ability to establish professional relationships with diverse individuals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Skill in operating business computers and office machines
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests
- Take names on waiting list
- Observe tables and clean as necessary
- Clean and organize host area
- Answer phone and respond to poker room inquiries
- Interact with guests to ensure positive gaming experience
- Sell and deliver chips to guests
- Refill table banks as requested
- Contribute to team efforts
- Perform other duties as required
