Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to manage a high volume of submissions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in organizing and tracking project statuses
  • Experience or education in a storytelling medium or related field
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about podcasting and digital media
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a large volume of pitches in a fast paced environment
  • Major in or strong experience in a storytelling medium such as theater, film, podcasting, literature, or creative writing
  • A wide range of interests and curiosity about the world
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in learning about the podcast industry

Job Duties

  • Manage pitch submissions inbox
  • Organize submissions and track status and prioritization of pitches
  • Support and work closely with senior development managers
  • Schedule pitch meetings and follow ups
  • Review and evaluate pitch decks, audio samples, pilot episodes, and existing shows
  • Conduct market research associated with inbound opportunities
  • Learn about iHeartPodcast Network's development process from pitch through green lighting
  • Participate in development meetings
