Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant kitchen experience
  • Ability to work late night shifts from 6 pm to 2 am
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capacity to work in hot and cold kitchen environments
  • Must understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of hands-on kitchen experience in prepping, cooking, and line work
  • Knowledge of cooking practices and kitchen procedures
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job including lifting up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items following recipe cards and quality standards
  • Monitor line set up before meal functions for efficiency
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance
  • Date and rotate food containers according to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor inventory, note out-of-stock items, and assist with inventory control
  • Return unused food items to proper storage with appropriate labeling
  • Assist in controlling food waste and managing food costs
  • Maintain open availability for late night shifts from 6 pm to 2 am
