Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current valid driver’s license
- Minimum two years hotel industry experience
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Knowledge of the local community and businesses
- Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds
- Ability to operate automatic and manual vehicles
- Clean driving record that meets insurance requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods
- Must have vision to see objects near and far
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least two years experience in the hotel industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluency in oral and written English
- Knowledge of local establishments and surrounding community
- Ability to safely drive both automatic and manual vehicles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
Job Duties
- Greet and assist guests by unloading luggage from vehicles and transporting to rooms
- Park vehicles and secure key tags with detailed information
- Drive vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assist guests with luggage transport upon departure
- Maintain written log recording requests and deliveries
- Respond to guest inquiries and promote hotel services
- Keep aware of local activities and establishments to provide recommendations
- Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor at all times
- Deliver newspapers to occupied rooms if applicable
- Maintain security by carrying radio, conducting regular floor checks, and securing access points
- Schedule and staff the Valet Team
- Motivate and coach team members ensuring thorough training and high performance
- Offer suggestions to leadership to improve operations and service
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
