Job Duties

  • clean a set number of occupied rooms during a shift
  • remove used towels and replace them with clean ones from the linen closet
  • wipe down any wet surfaces in the bathroom
  • fold any clothing left in room and place it in appropriate spot
  • remove room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
  • close drapes, reduce lighting, turn music on softly and prepare bed
  • restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens
  • prepare unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
  • perform full room attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
  • assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of lobby attendant, desk attendant and house attendant
