Job Duties
- clean a set number of occupied rooms during a shift
- remove used towels and replace them with clean ones from the linen closet
- wipe down any wet surfaces in the bathroom
- fold any clothing left in room and place it in appropriate spot
- remove room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings
- close drapes, reduce lighting, turn music on softly and prepare bed
- restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens
- prepare unoccupied rooms for turndown for arriving guests
- perform full room attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed
- assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of lobby attendant, desk attendant and house attendant
