Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Prior housekeeping supervisory experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be 18 years or older to drive Broadmoor vehicle
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and friendly team member

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping supervisory experience preferred
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Directly and indirectly supervises up to 60 employees within scope of responsibility
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Assists with the hiring, training, and re-training of employees within scope of responsibility
  • Actively participates in the timely administration of the 90-day and annual employee performance process
  • Provides inspirational leadership by rewarding and recognizing employees for their exceptional performance
  • Takes part in the employee progressive disciplinary process including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions
  • Ensures Forbes and AAA standards are properly executed through frequent performance audits
  • Monitors cleanliness and maintenance of guest accommodations, public spaces, and employee areas
  • Responsible for key policy procedures, equipment maintenance, and protecting company property
  • Gains complete understanding of the Hotel’s safety and security guidelines and participates in fire and safety drills
  • Attends supervisory meetings and leadership training classes
  • Assists in preparation and conducting of employee pre-shift meetings
  • Provides detailed information about guest requests and group expectations ensuring accurate execution
  • Assists in linen and supply inventories
  • Assists with planning and implementation of new or revised policies and procedures
