Job Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays
- schedule usually consists of Wednesday to Sunday
- shift usually consists of 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM
- minimum lifting of 50 pounds
- pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
- hearing, writing, typing
- minimum pulling of 50 pounds
- other duties may be assigned
- must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
- must possess unexpired or obtain a Utah food handlers permit within 14 days of employment
Job Qualifications
- Previous guest service experience
- familiarity with cash handling procedures preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to memorize menu items and specials
- knowledge of food and wine pairing
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- must be 21 or older to serve alcohol
- possession or ability to obtain Utah food handler's permit
Job Duties
- Greet all guests in a warm and enthusiastic manner and assist host or hostess in seating guests as needed
- present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, service, appropriate wines, and food preparation
- memorize menu selections and wines including being familiar with daily specials and basic ingredients
- maintain and follow all cash handling procedures
