Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Reliable and punctual

  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset

Job Duties

  • Clean all assigned guestrooms including dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Update and record all cleaned rooms
  • Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office
  • Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
  • Report necessary maintenance issues
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Sign in and out master keys daily
  • Other duties as assigned
