Job Requirements

  • Requires walking and standing for most of the shift
  • Requires ability to move fingers and hands quickly and easily
  • Requires ability to lift, bend, stretch and reach
  • Requires ability to push or pull service cart
  • Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing with hotel staff and guests
  • Must be able to use service elevators and stairways
  • Based indoors with protection from weather but potential temperature changes

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable franchise standards and procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and complete check lists in a timely manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to report to work on time for scheduled shifts

Job Duties

  • Check lobby area and all public restrooms frequently for cleanliness and replenish guest supplies
  • Vacuum behind front desk and clean various offices of hotel
  • Clean front lobby, fitness center and business center according to standards
  • Wash, dry and press guest items
  • Check linen rooms to see if they have been properly secured
  • Respond to calls from the front desk staff for guest requests
  • towels, amenities, laundry pick up and delivery
  • Be diligent about guest belongings and follow proper housekeeping procedures
