Job Requirements
- Requires walking and standing for most of the shift
- Requires ability to move fingers and hands quickly and easily
- Requires ability to lift, bend, stretch and reach
- Requires ability to push or pull service cart
- Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing with hotel staff and guests
- Must be able to use service elevators and stairways
- Based indoors with protection from weather but potential temperature changes
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of applicable franchise standards and procedures
- Ability to multi-task and complete check lists in a timely manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to report to work on time for scheduled shifts
Job Duties
- Check lobby area and all public restrooms frequently for cleanliness and replenish guest supplies
- Vacuum behind front desk and clean various offices of hotel
- Clean front lobby, fitness center and business center according to standards
- Wash, dry and press guest items
- Check linen rooms to see if they have been properly secured
- Respond to calls from the front desk staff for guest requests
- towels, amenities, laundry pick up and delivery
- Be diligent about guest belongings and follow proper housekeeping procedures
