Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years previous experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Solid understanding of safe food handling and kitchen operations
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently in absence of supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and stressful environments

Job Qualifications

  • Has at least two years of experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Has a solid understanding of safe food handling and kitchen operations
  • Communicates effectively and works well in a team
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines with strong organizational skills
  • Has excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute menu items to high-quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen that meets health code regulations
  • Assist with menu development, food preparation and inventory management
  • Inspect and report kitchen equipment maintenance needs
  • Help train and support fellow kitchen staff
  • Uphold personal and club appearance standards, always providing friendly and professional service
  • Adhere to all Dormie Network policies and procedures
  • Work with other employees and become an efficient working team
