Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must maintain professional appearance and teamwork attitude
- Physical capability to lift or carry up to 100 lbs consistently
- Adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and food portion guidelines

Job Duties
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards per server check
- Start food items prepared ahead of time ensuring not to over prepare
- Date all food containers and rotate per Crescent standards keeping perishables at proper temperatures
- Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up
- Return unused food items to designated storage areas covering and dating perishables
- Assist in developing plans to correct food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage
- Operate, maintain and clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill
- Comply with attendance rules and perform other assigned job related duties
