Job Requirements
- Must have PM availability
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion
- Working environment may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must be a certified food handler
- Experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Job Duties
- Handles all allergy and/or dietary restrictions and modifications
- Accurately follows all orders received from the POS system and/or direction from the expeditor
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of assigned station, the kitchen and the entire venue in accordance with Health Department regulations
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of assigned recipes and execution
- Communicates product needs to the chefs and the support staff
- Required to check cover counts, BEOs and/or Fire Sheets
- Properly sets-up station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management
- Reports all breakage or damage of equipment immediately to management
- Portrays a positive and professional attitude
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Embodies integrity and seeks continuous improvement
- Wants to learn and helps team members do the same
- Loves cooking and being part of a like-minded team
- Is a certified Food Handler
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable)
